Boredom

It is an invention of the human mind. Really, it bothers me immensely that so many people complain of boredom, but really, to alleviate yourself of its symptoms, all you must do is tell yourself that you are not bored. Then it will be gone. Boredom truly does not exist. People are just so obsessed with newness it permeates all of our activities. In fact I have heard people argue that the music that I listen to is no good simply because it is not new. They are wrong, of course. But it saddens me that people cannot accept what is clearly good for them for the sole reason that they think that it bores them. If they were to ignore this invented feeling, then they could understand true greatness. And its not just music; people do incredibly stupid things, like jump off of cliffs, because they believe that they are bored. It truly is saddening.

Blessings:
A schedule. I find it very comforting to be able to look into the future and have things to look forward to. Not that I would get "bored" if there wasnt, but it makes me more excited for life.
